South of Georgia, it simply means Florida. The name comes from TC Ridge, (front-man and founder) he wanted people to know that he’s proud of where things began.

The past few years have brought about an onslaught of “All Star” Southern Rock Bands, beginning with The Southern Rock Allstars (who actually began years ago as The Dixie Allstars). And you know what they say about a good idea. Before you could say “Hell yeah!” There were half a dozen more “All Star” bands, from The Renegades of Southern Rock to Deep South to The Rhythm Pigs featuring Dave Hlubek to bands like Saturday Night Special, which featured four original members of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
